Look for 4 screws on the rib ahead of the breech. The lines for the removable blocks are hard to see with the rolled engraving on the rib. The screw heads are engraved the same way as the rib. When the screws are out the spacers comes right out with little effort. The new bases just drop in that void. It's a well engineered set up that works great.
