The OP did not quote GBP, He quoted "Price 65 000 SEK/10 000 US$"

3. If I am looking at a US Auction site, then I expect things to be in US$. If in the UK, GBP, if in Sweden, Kronor.

Most I use charge the same amount for doing the same job within a few dollars. The rest of the crap is Gov't charges
and of course GST.

I think you are making it far more complicated than it needs to be. It is not that expensive or difficult to
bring guns into Australia, I've brought a fair few in.
