As written in earlier posts a friend of mine have a Westley Richards double rifle in .318WR. The rifle where made in 1909 and is chambered for a square shouldered .318WR cartridge. Up until the 90īs the owner was advised by WR to just use original .318WR cartridges, but was recently informed by WR not to use them as they do not meet the chamber dimensions. Thus, this rifle is depended upon custom dies to make cartridges who safely can be used. This is a bit to much frills for the owner, so he now consider selling the rifle and wonder what evaluation he should set when selling it.
