Mine has a compounded problem inasmuch that the system relies on a single cocking mechanism but actuated by two (eccentric) cams. (The FT Baker patent). Thus I am very cautious as the fabrication of a replacement was not cheap!

BTW thanks for an exceptional job on rust bluing both the Alex Henry and the rimfire Martinus. (joke on the last)
