I'd think just about any moly grease would work fine. Even in applications like the bearing points of my flintlocks that are submerged in water and blasted with WD40 afterwards, the grease stays where' it's put to lube and protect bearing surfaces. I only lube then once a year - if I remember. I know the hinge pin isn't submerged - the point is, the moly grease is so much better than required, nothing else is needed. |
