I think we can all agree , a "London Best Double" has always been VERY Expensive !!!!! Back in the day only the "Royals" had doubles in Africa. Most of the Farmers and Ranchers shot everything with a "Lee Speed" or something similar . Some of the "White Hunters" had doubles , but if they did it was most likely a "Birmingham Boxlock" and a very lucky few had a "Royal" given to them as a tip at the end of a Safari . Mostly it was the visiting sportsman who had the Best Grade double. I agree with Wes350 "much has changed between 1910 and now..."
