I'm tossing up the idea of having a gun case made for one or more of my rifles. Let's start with the Jeffery .450. Should one get a nice leather, wood and felt case for it as is traditional, or A more modern versatile for modern travel aluminium case, also with dividers etc for the rifle? I like the original, but can't imagine using it for airline travel. The aluminium one is far less pretty, not in sync with a vintage double rifle, but won't get banged up and will protect the rifle better when flying. What do you think? |
