I agree--they were being asked for...also the heavy for caliber seems to have become more in "vogue" as of late-or maybe its alway been---but see it being promoted by the Dr. in Sports Afield and other publications...and agree it can/does make a difference...

the last time I went to Zim..for the lighter stuff I loaded 200gr A-Frames in my 300 Ultra-mag..had them cruising around 3170 fps...had incredible performance on Zebra, Eland, etc..all one shot kills and good weight retention...

guess my only deal is I feel at times we all get bound up over things that in the end have little or no noticable effect on the "end of the day scenario".. but makes for good conversation...again, IMHO...
