I forgot to ask, what animals are you planning on hunting when you travel to Africa?

Bullet selection is substantially more important if the critter you're going to be hunting falls into the classification of "Dangerous Game". If you don't reload and you're thinking about hunting such beasts you might want to look at Federal's line of 9.3X74R. For example they have their "Barnes Banded Solid" that they advertise as their DG cartridge. I don't have any experience with Federal's 9.3X74R ammunition myself but I would think others on this site may have used them. Most of my experience with Federal ammunition is with their .338 Win Mag Premium and their 12 ga "Barnes Expander" sabot cartridges and both have always done their job. I will add that their .338 Win Mag Premiums are consitently accurate, in my experience.

I wouldn't know if there are any problems with getting Federal ammunition in Australia, hopefully not.
