I recently hunted feral pigs and scrub bulls in Cape York, Queensland and used the regulated RWS loads. Whilst they were flawlessly accurate I did not recover any bullets which was a bit disturbing.
Subsequent to this I have read that some PH's in Africa do not regard RWS bullets with favour. I hope to take this rifle to Africa in 2013 so I'm on a steep learning curve at the moment.

It depends on what RWS bullet you are using.
The question is, did the animals die ?
Not sure if spending $$$$$ on going to Africa I would skimp on the ammo - after all, it's the only thing between you and the animal.
