Hello Jeff:

The rib of my rifle has only one dovetail cut into the rear part of the rib. "There is no second dovetail just behind the rear sight. It appears the rifle has been designed to attach a scope mount to only one point.

I have seen pictures showing a Docter Optik sight but I do not want to use a dot sight. Therefore, do I need to send the rifle away to have a second dovetail cut to tkae a proper QD scope mount?
