Re: How many African countries DO NOT allow sport hunting?

I am trying to find pictures of what happens when the eco terrorists get their way, I'll give you the story for now....... 21 elephants were relocated from South Africa to a private project in Namibia, the owner of the elephants advised against it, but the elephants had to go due to overstocking, he suggested that the elephants were culled, and the meat given to the "less fortunate". The greenies got to hear about it, and the elephants were moved onto a well vegetated piece of land that was probably suitable for 10 elephants (if memory serves, it was about 90-000 hectares) The land lasted 2 (two) years, and it now looks like a desert (wish I could find the pics), not even suitable for small game, due to them flattening the acacias, and then the grass, wind/water erosion washed away the topsoil, and literally made it into a desert. Oh yes the elephants starved to death, or were shot as crop raiders, and the greenies could not be reached for comment........... end result, same as owners initial idea, but a lot more painful for the animals, and of course the total destruction of the precious wilderness....... well done chaps. Better luck next time though.....
