I used a small tool box and foam when travelling on Canadian air. The nice part was the tool box could be locked. Interesting was they had me take my 375 out of a locked hard case at the ticket desk on my return while in line at a busy airport to show some girl who knew nothing that the gun was unloaded.The ammo was no problem and they liked it locked.
