I'd be very damn careful with a Blaser S2. I've owned two of them, 500/416 and 470. BOTH rifles broke in the first 10 rounds. One cracked at the wrist and the second cracked a forearm. Plus they both crossed at less than 20 yards. the 500/416 would not close on American ammo. It only shot WR!
In my humble opinion, these things were built by German guest workers from Guam. Buy a Searcy. I know Butch Searcy quite well. I've used his underlever .577 to take an elephant in Botswana. Plus, I'm not new at this. I write for hunting rags.
