In the Remington shells that I mentioned above, I've shot .45-70 Govt. in 405 grain, soft point in mine. Seems to have good groupings out to 50 yards with a muzzle velocity of approximatly 1,330 fps and 1,590 muzzle energy (personally, in comparison to my DR in 30-06, I think the '06 has greater impact and kick!)
