Challenge? Didn't know there was a challenge.

Here's what I mean by 'tactful' - just taking your first post as an example.

When you say things such as:
"I detect flaws in your respective execution. I understand that sundry posters will "flame" me but that's how I call it."

That's it? Nothing more to say? If you see flaws, surely you can tell us what they are in your post, even if in small detail so we can all understand your position and then continue the discussion.

Well, we all know that by your omission of an explanation in your post that you are naturally inviting a "flame" response. And the bait was taken. Even at that, nobody really flamed you - just wondered WTF!?

Is this the best way to start a philosophical debate?

Any regular visitor to NE knows that both Roland and Bailey enjoy the teaching aspect of their craft and we are all much better off for it. Rather than simply showing the finished work, they are gracious enough to show their works in progress. That way folks such as myself not only get the "see what I did" but also the "see how I did it".

Being a FORUM, all levels of expertise are inherently present. We should all avoid making this like another forum we all know of...
