I haven't checked into this, but a good friend of mine did. I checked with him today and this is what he told me.

They do make a set of inserts for their cowboy action DB shotgun. Basically, it is an entire kit, consisting of two threaded barrels, a set of sights, and one of the barrels has a cam is off center a bit.

What you do is install the sights, thread in one barrel, sight in the rifle, then tweak the off centric cam to regulate the barrels. You will end up with a 45-70 with 18 inch barrels.

He seemed to think the price was 249 for the kit, but he couldn't remember exactly. Given he ended up buying a Searcy 500 NE, I wouldn't expect him to remember.

Oh, yeah, when he did check with the importer, they didn't have any conversions in stock. So, do check before you get too carried away the thought.
