I was not sure how common it was to mate nitro barrels with a black powder frame . I received some brass and did run a few rounds through the rifle . It is very accurate . I slugged the bore and it takes a .366 diameter bullet consistent with the 400/360 Purdey . Loaded a light load of 44 grains of reloder 15 . Tolerated that load without evidence of primer flow and extracted the brass easily . You are right , the combination looks good . Thanks again and good luck with your Purdey , Jim
