First of all - it is just IMO so don't bother - but I'd detere you from the stance you have taken when buying your first double.

Each to his own, but making a decision of getting a double is not a rational one, therefore doesn't come from ones mind but more from ones heart. So dump all you have learned so far through bolts. The main entrance that IMO anyone should enter when approaching his/hers double rifle should be through FEEL. Therefore get to the place that owns a couple different ones and take them in your hands, then LISTEN...to each and one of them...by you HEART not your mind...and they will spoke and you will know exactly which ONE YOU WANT.

I've been shooting my R93 for more than a decade by now and I guess it is still my "fighting" weapon, but the only rifle that goes along today is my Merkel. I didn't have any problems getting used to - I have shot my SxS shotgun much much more I did my R93 so it came very natural right from beginning. Don't worry - whatever you choose this way will be right for you, just remember - if heart is empty, head doesn't matter.
