Well that one is back together and with much benefit from the ordeal. It needed a good internal cleaning and lubrication. It may have been 100 years since its last loving bath.

I did some photography before, during, and after reassembling the rifle on Saturday. I'll be posting some photos on the DR Archive forum in the next day or two. My light wasn't very good, so the photos suffered a bit. After reassembling the rifle I shot a few "offhands" just for fun and posted them at this thread.

My Henry with no ears. Fortunately, it didn't lose its ears by being butchered.
