Mike I agree. I participate in auctions in the UK and USA every year, and similar guns do not sell for what other members are posting as estimates. I agree with Curl the owner should be pricing his own gun, not us.

The markets differ a bit from around the globe as we all know, I am surprised to hear other members placing such high estimates on this piece. Wes e-mailed me back this AM, he came in at $5,500 he said that was probably on the high end but requested more detailed photos for a more accurate est.

These are just opinions of course, albeit some of us are professional hunters, collectors, even auction department leaders as Wes, etc. A gun is worth what someone is willing to pay obviously, with that said I would advise selling it to one of the members here that feels its worth more than others.
