If I were to actually BUY a double (instead of building it) I think a man could not go wrong with a Merkel in 470NE or 500NE. Love them, strong, reliable, safe.

If I had more money than the US Gub-mint and Curl put together

, I'd get a Heym Jumbo .577NE or 600NE. Possibly a Searcy in 700NE. If for pure Macho reasons a Ken Owens 4 bore.

Of course these are Hunt'n guns, not show pieces.
