No not a serious issue. It will work. I too have grown up on right handed rifles, however when I was about to get a double it was all about finaly getting a true personal thing. Perfect fit on all counts was mandatory. For me a tailor made double rifle does make a difference and yes you can call me a snob in that case

- so don't bother.

P.S. JPK from this forum is lefty as well and he uses his right handed MT with pleasure.
