I think their was a guy who had a Chapuis who used monos (Barnes from memory) where the ribs came loose. Gun was sent for repair and he was told not to use Barnes bullets.
End result was that he used them again, same thing happened
and the gun was repaired a second time.
From memory it was the second time it was in for repair they asked him what he uses, and told him to stop using it.
At that point they would have to come up with something to blame. Not saying the bullets wasnt to blame but as all craftsmen would have done, to try to find something else then your own work to point a finger at.
