I'd like to know how Federal's sales are faring in light of Hornady's offering. Based on Midway's pricing it looks like Federal has lowered their price on the Swift and Barnes offerings in 470. I'm surprised they are dropping the Woodleighs as many won't shoot Barnes or Swifts.
I wouldn't shoot Barnes or Swift's in my DR's.
Not sure why they would change, anyone got any ideas ?

No proof, but if this is like anything else, some "marketing genius" made a move before doing the research..now they are stuck with inventory and a product that will not be as desirable by the masses as the previous product. Competition makes companies do crazy things, and sometimes, IMHO, the wrong things..
