I have a Zeiss Diavari on my 9.3. You may need to fit a rubber slip-on pad for the stock. I would also suggest you look at Quick detachable mounts, preferably the spring loaded type, so the line of the scope is not too high. If you are as old as me, you would need a good scope. My days of iron sights have long since gone. You would only need 1 - 6 x magnification, I think for most shots.

A scope is something that can be moved from rifle to rifle, so it´s worth getting a good one. I am not so keen on the Kahles, but Zeiss, Schmidt and Bender and Swarovski are, I think good brands.

I had a Leupold on a .458 and it fell to pieces.
