I got a virus from what looked like the E-mail address of a friend who is a guide in Alaska. It wasn't him it turns out,but because this guy always sends me pictures, I opened a file on this bogus E-mail...BINGO! Norton says it is a "BUGBEAR" virus!??????????????? Does anyone, here, know how I can rid myself of this virus? I have Norton Anti-virus, and it detected it but couldn't stop it, or fix the damage. The computer I'm typeing on now is an old one that I haven't used in years, and I scanned it for virus, and it doesn't show anything, so I guess the virus isn't tied to my account, but restricted to the computer it's self. I am not sending any E-mails, so if anyone gets an E-mail that seems to be from me, don't open it, especially if it has an attatchment! I'm hopeing it hasn't attacthed it's self to my E-mail list, but I don't know that it hasn't! |
