Welcome to the forum. It is in the nature of a forum to drift where the conversation goes and with what posters are finding interesing.

As to your question regarding the two makes. I would not have the Blaser because of the shroud that covers the chambers. When you face a dangerous situation you need to pay attention to the animal, not fiddle around and have to look down to try and reload.

For non DG it is probably fine.
