Hi Matt , yes 450NE is good/better mate but only in a rifle that is the right size ie small/light/handy , if the same size as 470NE action , get a 500NE 3in much more smash than both ,will make a better back up rifle ,wink, wink & hopefully the barrel will not fall off like the 458Winny
