Just got of the phone with the Merkel rep at GSI and he said the gun can easily stand up to factory 375H&H loads and in fact are regulated with them. I will take your advice and load up a batch stepped down to 2350-2400 fps. No point beating myself and the rifle up just practicing, and use the full throttle load on safari. BTW I want to hunt Caped Buffalo next year.
