That makes little difference on a cape gun because they are fitted with proper pins on the shot barrel, and proper pins on the rifle barrel. I have severl hundred rounds through both barrels on each of the two Cape guns I own, and never a problem with either! The other one is a V. Haffner 20GA shot barrel/58 Berdan carbine in the rifle barrel.
