Come on guys, can we try and get this thread back on track? I wonder why the rifle was redone in that style. Was it just tarted in an attempt to bring higher dollars from some unsuspecting buyer? Did someone have the work done that way because they prefer that style to the way the gun was originally built? Was the engraving done to camouflage previous damage from pitting or buffing etc? One thing for sure, it would have been a nice gun in it's original condition. |
