We don't need to see what it looked like beforehand - they were made in a certain "style", quite a few of us on here either own them or have owned them (I have 4 now and owned an identical gun that had more engraving than most) so we all know what it looked like.

I buy guns to use - but some are still "collectors" guns and yes, I do shoot them - I just don't take them into the wet swamps of Northern Australia !!!
I have also bought guns as investments - it's no different to buying any other type of investment and is a legal part of superannuation (in this country anyway). And in any case, if someone offers you a bargain DR, why the hell wouldn't you buy it.
