Welcome to NE.com

It is natural to pull the front trigger first on any double barrelled firearm as it will place your finger in the ideal position for the second trigger and barrel.

However when using different loads, eg a soft (right barrel) and a solid (left barrel), you may choose say to shoot the left barrel or solid round in preference. A definite advantage of the double triggered double is to instantly be able to choose the round prefered for the situation.

USUALLY the front trigger fires the right barrel and the rear trigger the left barrel. However this is not always the case. I would think all current models would be of this configuration though.
