You need to work with an FFL to fill in ATF Form 6 for importation. Takes about 60 days to be approved. Also having a customs broker can be handy to do the release from customs. FFLs seem to be charging arround 200-400 for the service. Though you can get lucky and have someone do it for free if you know the guy.
