Gentlemen I acquired a Holland .240 flanged nitro a few months back. It's time to get her in working order for the upcoming deer season. The gun was made in 1936 and proved for "cordite 31 1/2 100 max". Does anyone out there know the stated velocity of the load of the day and the bullet shape. I know that the prior owner used 41 gr RL22 with 100 gr. Speer pointed at supposedly 2500 FPS. Don't know much more. Any data would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance. Don |
