Coming back to the point: yes chapuis is a discounted gun for its real quality (which is not a HH)! To me that is obvious. The same way german cars are a few times overated (they are great no mistake about it). If you don´t have any prejudice just take advantage on it. I have, and bought two new, beautifull working doubles for probably less than one single, patched up old double from somewhere with more prestige...
