I don't have a problem with frosting in the first 3 - 4 inches of a barrel, ESPECIALLY on a 303, however the frosting in the chamber is a worry.


as to the second part of the story, well, what can you say !!!




I imagine they just had it honed out a bit with the other cleanup, but it still will have visible remains I bet, and feel a little loose with the brass in. The stock had been cracked in two spots and a piece that fell out glued back in at the rear just beneath the cheekpiece as well.
