Comparing the pin placement of the new Lancaster to a 1931 Purdey:





There's one extra pin on the Lancaster, otherwise it looks pretty much the same to me. Might be a clone and not the simplified design referred to.

Wonder what the extra pin is for?

Dunno without looking inside!

P.S. In my opinion, which doesn't amount to much, I think they could do a heck of a lot better job of shaping the action bolster.

And also, if this rifle is "ready for the engraver" then the engraver had better be an accomplished actioner. It will require a good bit more filing and polishing before going to the engraver. I'm sure they know that and will certainly attend to it.
