I too have a merkel 141 in 8x57IRS. I have mine for black bear, moose & deer on the East Coast Of Canada. So far I like the little rifle but have had it one season and only shot one buck with it. The rifle worked very well. I would like too know what you use your DR for? Pro & cons of the 8x57 round? Do you handload for it? If so what recipe works for you. Do you use Norma Oryx ammo? If so how does it preform on game?
