I find I have to pull the rounds out of the mag and re do them so bottom is now top and any that are a bit iffy get hand fed into the chamber as the first round.

i would do the same with doubles except I tend not to fire only one shot as I always put in an insurance shot.

Damage to rounds in magazine rifles is a problem.
