Ammo holder on belt, LHS (lefty). I never wear the belt over my winter jackets – if there is an action to be expected I just pull 2 rounds out of the holder and put them in the pocket of the jacket where I usually keep my bare left (trigger) hand from cold - I try to keep out without glove on that hand as long as possible while my right gloved hand holds the rifle. 2 cartidges are ok, 3 is a crowd. I have tried those sling-mounted cartridge loops but gave up on them after I have lost a couple cartridges in a thick stuff.
