That's the same type of groups I got out of my Rigby hammer 450-400. 255 grain lead but I was using 44 grains of 4198. Was your 34 grain load a typo? I was getting 1.3 to 1.5 inch groups at 100 yards and I bet your gun will do the same. Is your Alex Henry a hammer or hammerless underlever? Good shooting, my friend.
