Hi Bill, nice piece,your correct not many comps.Looks like original case color,if barrels are as good as you say,and that the most important factor,all else can be fixed with money. I agree with Tinker although the DG market has taken a back seat to the black rifle accumulation and most likely more buyer friendly,5-7k seems reasonable.Only detraction I can see,besides that floor plate screw is the loss of the horn buttplate,they cut that stock as close as they could.The lever might be a bit left of center but that could just be picture-with those side clips doubt it would get way off face.Still real nice gun,set screws,horn inlay gold safety and trigger guard intact along with claw mounts are all nice touches. I have seen a few Geyger offered over the years all well done,one seller told me there was rumored connection to Goring investing in the company,who knows but they sure did make top shelf guns Let us know if you get it,I would bid on it if I saw it at auction. best, Dave |
