Before the era of cordite, the .577 express was the ultimate expression in a sporting rifle while the bore guns where for dangerous game; the .577 express where far and few between, while the .500 being more common. Today the .577 express is super rare. In a purely serendipitous manner - Cptcurl posted one link to this rifle. It was now or never if I ever was going to get a .577 express. It's a no name trade gun (Sears and Roebuck) so the price was right, but the quality it typical British. I owe Roscoe a Beer. |
