Hi Marrakai Thank you for the reply. Yes, I know what you mean. I am using a bolt action from ´ 38 myself, love it! I was more thinking about the action on a db rifle, hard to find parts, the regulation on the barrels and so one. But, as you say, these guns was made, when work quality was #1 and not the CEO´s car. Just looking at a old gun, is a joy. Same with old fishing rods, I am using that, a a bamboo rod and a old wooden one. Still do it for me...and gives me dinner to So, my questions more or less give it to itself.....when I think about it. A old gun is old, but alive and ready. So, you use the .577 2 3/4 , your gun looks just great! Have you taken her to Africa? Yes, when I read what you say, a .577 at 10-10.5lbs, is a easy handling gun, and got all the power I need. I have a magazine about a drilling made now in .577 2 3/4*2 and with a 12 gauge under, it is a very pretty gun. Hmmm..I think I will look around and se if a "short" .577 is around....... Have a good day |
