500Nitro only the Merkel action in the white is made in Germany! The rest of the rifle is made in california! The Barrels are American made PAC-NOR and are good barrels. IMO the Merkel action and barrel blanks are the best part of the finished rifle. The workmanship is about average for an OFF THE SHELF $10K double. The engraveing is worth more than the rifle it's self!

The only reason they can get the prices they post are because many think they are getting a real RIGBY rifle when all they are getting is a run of the mill double rifle with a purchased Rigby name on it!
