Sorry Dugaboy, maybe I didn't explain myself properly, as I said, I don't know anything about current Rigby rifles or where they are made ?? I do know that
about 800 man hours of highly skilled labour go into a current Holland/Purdey double rifle,
which is approx £110 an hour on current prices, (mark up is approx 30% so in effect £77 an hour), a car concession in London charges approx £70 an hour for its' mechanics at the moment, hence my statement that they will never be cheap !! best, Mike
