Interesting concept. In fact, if it weren't for the name, I'd say the design was from the very innovative French in origin and a blend between the Jones lever and the sliding Darne action. I'm sure it works, but I'd rather the bolting mechanism slide back and forth rather than the barrels. It also makes me nervous that the fences also contain the locking bosses.

Some designs are "forgotten" for a reason!
