That gun is VERY restorable in my opinion. I have seen much, much worse come back to life. The pits do not look that deep if you blow the pictures up to full size. The wood appears sound, and lots of black powder guns have less than perfect bores and still shoot fine. I actually think it will sell pretty quickly. If I was looking for another project, I think this would be a good one.
